Presented is an autographed copy of baseball legend Jackie Robinson‘s book “My Own Story”. Robinson worked with sportswriter Wendell Smith to record this biography of Robinson’s life leading up to his MLB debut. Throughout Robin’s early years with the Dodgers, Smith wrote anonymously in the Pittsburgh Courier for the 1949 National League MVP. Because of this, Smith helped Robinson become one of the most famous and beloved players in his day and age.

This featured book has an all red canvas cover, with a silhouette of Jackie Robinson in his Dodgers uniform. The cover page shows signs of wear, as the canvas is beginning to tear alongside the edges and the cover also has light stains. The cover pages remain fully intact and in good viewing condition. Robinson has signed his name on the inside page in blue ink. Though the spine shows some signs of wear the rest of the book is in good condition as all pages are fully included and are completely intact. This item comes with a full LOA by PSA/DNA (W03088).
