Offered in this lot are eight (8) ticket stubs and three (3) press passes to National Football League championship and all-star games from 1950 through 1963.  The first ticket stub is for the 1960 All-Stars vs. NFL exhibition game, played on August 11, 1950 at Soldier Field in Chicago.  The Chicago Charities College All-Star Game was a preseason American football game played from 1934 to 1976 between the National Football League (NFL) champions and a team of star college seniors from the previous year; the College All-Stars beat the Philadelphia Eagles 17-7 in this game.  This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (20925543).  The second ticket stub in this lot is from the 1951 Chicago Charities College All-Star Game, where the Cleveland Browns defeated the College All-Stars, 33-0 at Soldier Field on August 17, 1951.  This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (20925544). 

The third ticket stub in this lot is from the 1952 All-Stars vs. NFL contest at Soldier Field on August 15, 1952, won by the Los Angeles Rams, 10—7. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (20925545). The fourth ticket stub in this lot is from the 1953 All-Stars vs. NFL contest on August 14, 1953, won by the Detroit Lions, 24-10 at Soldier Field.  This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (20925546). The fifth ticket stub in this lot is from the 1954 All-Stars vs. NFL contest of Aug. 13, 1954 at Chicago’s Soldier Field, won by the Detroit Lions, 31-6.  This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21181798). The sixth ticket stub in this lot is from the 4th Annual All-Star Pro Bowl, played in the Los Angeles Coliseum on Sunday, January 17, 1954. The East squad beat the West, 20-9, with Chuck Bednarik named the game’s MVP.  This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (14910685). 

The seventh ticket stub in this lot is from the 1959 NFL Championship game at Baltimore’s Memorial Stadium on December 7, 1959.  The Baltimore Colts beat the New York Giants, 31-16. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (23584076). The eighth ticket stub in this lot is from the 1962 NFL Championship game, played on December 30, 1962 at Yankee Stadium in New York. The Green Bay Packers beat the New York Giants, 16-7, with Packers linebacker Ray Nitschke being named the game’s MVP. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21034674). 

The first “pass” in this lot is for the television booth at the 1957 NFL Championship game played Dec. 29, 1957 at Briggs Stadium in Detroit.  The Detroit Lions beat the Cleveland Browns, 59-14, as the Lions’ back-up quarterback, Tobin Rote, threw four touchdown passes in the title game, completing 12 of 19 passes for 280 yards, and ran for a touchdown.  This pass has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (20810057). The second pass in this lot is for the football press box at Yankee Stadium on December 21, 1958, the NFL’s Eastern Conference Play-off game.  The game was won by the New York Giants, 10-0, over the Cleveland Browns. This pass has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (20970757).  The third pass is for the television booth at Wrigley Field in Chicago for the 1963 NFL World Championship Game between the Chicago Bears and the New York Giants on December 29, 1963.  The Bears won, 14-10.  This pass has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (20810060).
