Jackie Robinson 70th anniversary auction to benefit JRF ending April 29
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 4/30/2017
“The Jackie Robinson Story” was one of the biggest movies of 1950, a smash hit due to Jackie Robinson’s star turn as himself. Billed as “The Pride of Brooklyn”, Robinson retells the story of his Major League debut in 1947, and the events that made breaking the color barrier possible. This full color 14 x 36 inch poster shows Robinson batting, superimposed over a muted yellow background. This poster has a "50/330" marking, which is a NSS code that indicates the year of the movie (1950) and the 330th title released that year, and is in excellent shape, save for creases where it was folded.
