“The Jackie Robinson Story” was one of the hit films of 1950, coming on the heels of Robinson’s 1949 National League MVP winning season. Robinson played himself, while Ruby Dee took on the role of his wife, Rachel Isum Robinson.
Presented here is an original 11 x 14 inch lobby card for the movie. It shows Robinson leaping to make a catch at first base in his Montreal Royals home jersey. This poster is a limited edition and numbered 50/330. This lobby card is in good condition, with only minor aging and wear shown.
