Presented is a 324-card complete set of 1951 Bowman baseball cards; two cards – the scarcer "High Number" entries representing the Rookie Cards of Mickey Mantle and Willie Mays – have been graded by SGC. This production boasts a clean, uncluttered design with hand-painted images presented in the once-customary small card format. Content includes a variety of stars, such as #'s 2 Berra, 30 Feller, 80 Reese, 134 Spahn, 181 Stengel, 186 Ashburn, 232 Fox and 290 Dickey. Graded cards include: #'s 253 Mantle (SGC PR 1) and 305 Mays (SGC FR 1.5). The set's cards exhibit amber-toned staining (attributable to vintage adhesive tape) in one marginal area: overall condition is generally PR to GD, with many cards projecting surprisingly favorable aesthetic appeal.
