Each card has been graded by PSA. A Hall of Fame pair, with both athletes seen in their Rookie Card appearances. Two items that appear on almost every collector's "wish list" are presented here, together! These first-year collectibles (both of which hail from 1951 Bowman's scarcer "High Number" series) evoke plenty of nostalgia for the first depictions of two players who essentially defined our National Pastime during the 1950s. The Mantle example carries VG/EX-presentation quality, and was most likely downgraded due to back wrinkling. The Mays example concedes a corner crease and corner wear. Both of the cards lack any wax residue on the reverse and carry attractive fronts. The twosome includes: #'s 253 Mantle (PSA FR 1.5) and 305 Mays (PSA GD+ 2.5). An always-coveted "dynamic duo" of collectible treasures!
