Graded NM 7 by PSA. Hall of Famer, in his first-year trading card appearance. Among more than 550 copies recorded in PSA’s census reporting, fewer than eighty examples have been placed at a higher, unqualified tier. Tom Landry, the head coach who led the Dallas Cowboys for 29 years, is credited with 13 Division Championships, five Super Bowl appearances and two Super Bowl wins, as well as a streak of 18 consecutive winning seasons. He finished his career with 270 victories, the third-most of any coach in history. Landry, in his earlier role as a bruising halfback for the New York Giants, is commemorated beautifully by the painted likeness on his rookie card. Commendable focus, strong image color and balanced white borders highlight this eye-catching collectible. All four corners retain well-defined points, and the mildly toned reverse carries boldly printed text. Near Mint condition.
