Among a total of more than 600 copies recorded in PSA's census reporting, just eighty examples have been placed at a higher, unqualified tier. Tom Landry, the stalwart head coach who led the Dallas Cowboys for 29 years, is credited with 13 Division Championships, five Super Bowl appearances and two Super Bowl wins, as well as a streak of 18 consecutive winning seasons. He finished his career with 270 victories. Landry, in his earlier role as a bruising halfback for the New York Giants, is commemorated beautifully by this superior specimen of his rookie card. Commendable focus, robust image color and bright white borders highlight this eye-catching collectible. All four corners are nicely pointed, centering is impressive and the reverse is clear with no distractions. Near Mint condition.
