Behind superb pitching by Eddie Lopat, Vic Raschi and Allie Reynolds, the Yankees won 98 games to finish six games above Cleveland. The Yanks made short work of the Giants, winning the World Series 4-2.

The signatures are in blue fountain pen which display nicely against the warm white leather. The ball comes with a LOA from JSA (Y38161) for the signatures.
