Presented is a 107-card complete set of 1952/53 St. Lawrence Sales hockey cards. While the name "Parkhurst" is the first producer hobbyists encounter when pursuing vintage hockey, there are a number of more obscure issues of the same era. St. Lawrence Sales distributed these 1-3/4" x 2", black-and-white cards during the 1952/53 season, and contained within are Jacques Plante and Jean Beliveau cards from very early in their illustrious careers. Highlights include: #'s 1 Plante (FR), 7 Litzenberger (FR), 17A Schmidt (GD), 17B Guidolin (PR, pencil), 39 Beliveau (PR), 53 Carnegie (GD) and 103 Regan (VG). Grades 42% VG to VG/EX (handful slightly nicer), 26% GD to GD/VG, 32% lesser.
