Presented is a 252-card complete set of 1952 Bowman baseball cards. The brightly colored small cards of the 1952 Bowman issue have often been unfairly overshadowed by their large-size Topps counterparts. During this set's production, however, Bowman still ruled the baseball card world, and it took several decades of secondary collector interest to bring about the deserved shift in attention. In the 1952 Bowman series, contractual difficulties with Ted Williams thwarted his inclusion, but Musial returned after a three year hiatus. All of the day's other significant stars are present, including the second-year Bowman cards of Mantle and Willie Mays. Four cards has been graded by PSA or SGC.
