Graded MINT 9 by PSA. Hall of Famer. This is one of thirteen examples at its tier (with just two graded higher) among a total census of more than 3,200 PSA-graded copies. This blazing 1952 Bowman Mantle displays essentially perfect registration and rich, bold color. The card's edges present attractive and fresh cuts, an aspect that subtly enhances the piece's totally uncirculated overall appearance. All four corners are pinpoint-sharp with no traces of wear. There are no conspicuous wrapper stains on its clean reverse and the card is nicely centered. The visual effect of this collectible is simply splendid, an impression that's reinforced by a complete absence of the printmark traces so often observed in '52 Bowman's delicately crafted, lovingly painted cardfronts. This is an exceptional and superior incarnation of Bowman's second-year Mickey Mantle offering, in luscious Mint condition.
