Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Hall of Famer. Among nearly 3,000 copies recorded in PSA’s census reporting, just nineteen examples have been placed at a higher, unqualified tier. This is an exceptional '52 Bowman, second-year rendering of the young Yankee. The card’s surfaces are clean and lustrous, with not a trace of errant print, and its color is abundantly rich. The back is boldly printed, with faint wrapper shadowing at the bottom edge. An exciting depiction of the aspiring superstar, in very favorably preserved Near Mint to Mint condition.
