Encapsulated with autograph assessed "Authentic" by PSA/DNA (Cert. #27279892). Hall of Famer. Willie Mays scripted an outstanding, vintage blue ballpoint signature example on the obverse of this otherwise unmarked specimen of his first-year Topps gum card. The colorful collectible provides an especially appealing canvas for the careful penmanship of its beloved subject. Mays, who retired in 1973 at the conclusion of a stellar 22-year career, was a first-ballot Cooperstown enshrinee in 1979.
