Graded 30 GD 2 by SGC. Hall of Famer, in his debut Topps gum card appearance. Deep color and impeccable registration distinguish the offered card's cherished portrait. Its rich blue background contrasts wonderfully with Mantle's navy blue Yankees cap and his yellow bat. Misalignment of the illustration toward the right side largely accounts for the card's modest grade, but doesn't diminish the item's inherent power to excite.
