Graded NM+ 7.5 by PSA. Hall of Famer. This entry hails from the 1952 Topps issue's much scarcer "High Number" series. Among more than 900 copies recorded in PSA's census reporting, just fifty-five examples have been placed at a higher, unqualified tier. All of this item's graphic features, including the spectacular quality of Robinson's likeness, the rich, ruby-red background, and the crisply defined team logo, work together to create a display piece that would be the envy of any collection. Only lightly do the right-side corners betray the faintest evidence of contact or handling, and smooth, glossy borders complete the scarce collectible's thoroughly enviable presentation. The collectible's reverse exhibits bold and faultless printing. Near Mint-plus condition.
