Encapsulated with Autograph Certified and graded "MINT 9" by PSA/DNA. Hall of Famer. This fascinating rarity documents time spent by the great Hank Aaron seasoning his considerable skills in a Winter League venue before joining the Milwaukie Braves for the 1954 major league campaign. The black-and-white photo reveals twenty-five members of the Caguas squad (which hailed from a central Puerto Rican city), a line-up that includes several future big leaguers: Aaron (with surname misspelled "Aroon"), Buhl, Owen and Lawrence. "Hammerin' Hank" has signed the bottom-edge margin in blue ink. The photo has suffered paper loss at the corners from album mounting, but the splendid signature and most of the images are unaffected. A "Lama Foto" photographer's stamping appears on the reverse. Aaron, a first-ballot Cooperstown enshrinee in 1982, passed away in January, 2021.
