Offered is a framed and mounted display of the 1953 New York Yankees team photo with the signatures of 36 players. The 7 x 33-inch black and white photo shows the members of the team horizontally, lined up in the outfield at Yankee Stadium.  In white letters at the bottom of the photo is the legend “New York Yankees 1953 American League.”  All 35 Yankees players and one coach have signed their name over their image in the photograph.  Among the notable signatures in the display are:  Ralph Houk; Ed Lopat; Johnny Mize; Whitey Ford; Mickey Mantle; Billy Martin; Yogi Berra (all in black ink); and Phil Rizzuto (in blue ink).  The photo is mounted in a tan paper matte within a 11 x 37 silver and black wood frame.  The 1953 Yankees finished with a record of 99–52, winning their 20th pennant, finishing 8 ½ games ahead of the Cleveland Indians. In the World Series, they defeated the Brooklyn Dodgers in six games. This was the Yankees fifth consecutive World Series win, a record that still stands.
