The 1953 New York Yankees completed an astounding fifth consecutive World Series title, when they won the American League by 8 ½ games over the Cleveland Indians and once again defeated the Brooklyn Dodgers in the World Series. Offered here is an Official American League Bobby Brown baseball that has been signed by 15 members of the 1953 World Champion New York Yankees. This reunion ball features the signatures of Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle on the sweet spot in bold blue pen, along with Ewell Blackwell. The south panel has the signatures of Johnny Sain, Hall of Famer Whitey Ford, Ed Lopat and Don Bollweg, all signed in blue pen. The north panel has the blue pen signatures of Bill Miller, Allie Reynolds, Billy Martin and Gil McDougald. The west panel has the signatures of Hank Bauer and Hall of Famer Phil Rizzuto and the east panel has the signatures of Hall of Famer Yogi Berra, Gene Woodling and Bob Kuzava. The ball is in excellent condition, displaying only slight toning giving it a cream-colored look. The signatures are clear and this ball comes with a LOA from JSA (X99792).
