Graded NM 7 by PSA, and ranking among the top ten percent of its more than 3,000-card PSA census. Hall of Famer. This satisfying 1953 Topps Mantle sports bold, intense colors. The always-difficult red caption area at the lower left is particularly strong at the edges, and discreet touches of wear can be discerned only at the tips of the still well-shaped corners. A remarkable measure of surface gloss contributes nicely to this card's bright, dramatic appearance. The reverse is solidly printed and free of stains. A very pleasing example, in Near Mint condition.
