This is the foundation element of one of the finest careers ever accomplished in Major League Baseball. Its subject's glory during a lengthy reign as Home Run King is known and respected by all. But he established additional records, and distinguished himself in other capacities as well. The last Negro League player to also star in the majors, Hank Aaron amazed crowds for 23 seasons. At the conclusion of this incomparable run of success, he continued to devote himself to the game in an executive role. Through it all, his dignity and gracious manner have remained the hallmarks of this great competitor's commitment to his sport.

Graded MINT 9 by PSA. Hall of Famer, in his prized Rookie Card appearance. This is one of twenty-four examples at its tier (with just two specimens graded higher) among a total of more than 5,200 copies recorded in PSA's census reporting. Presented is a wonderfully fresh and untouched Topps rookie card of Hank Aaron. One of the most recognizable treasures in the hobby, the bright orange-backgrounded showpiece is seen here in what must be regarded as the ultimate state of preservation. Hardly a single fiber can be detected as being out of place, and all colors are aligned exactly as the manufacturer intended. Almost proof-like in its character, the portrait likeness of "Hammerin' Hank" is flawless, and his "action" vignette shares this briskness of clarity. This card delivers knockout visual quality from all aspects, and has suffered virtually none of the intrusive print markings so often seen in the issue. Here's an ideal rookie card of a true and proven baseball icon, in spectacular Mint condition.
