The 1955 Milwaukee Braves finished second in the National League to the eventual World Series Champion Brooklyn Dodgers. While the Braves came up short in 1955, the emergence of Hall of Famer Hank Aaron, along with fellow Hall of Famers Warren Spahn and Eddie Mathews laid the groundwork for their eventual World Series title in 1957.

Offered here is an Official National League Warren Giles stamped baseball with the blue pen signatures from 24 members of the 1955 Milwaukee Braves. Manager Charlie Grimm, along with Joe Edelman and John Cooney, have signed their names on the sweet spot. The south panel has the signatures of Bob Keely, Hall of Famer Hank Aaron, Bobby Thomson, Jack Dittmer, Andy Pafko, Dave Jolly and Lew Burdette. The north panel has the signatures of Bucky Walters, Billy Bruton, Ernie Johnson, Johnny Logan and Hall of Famer Eddie Mathews. The west panel has the signatures of Chuck Tanner, George Crowe, Danny O’Connell, Roberto Vargas and Del Rice. The east panel with the Spalding stamp has the signatures of Joe Adcock, Chet Nichols, Ray Crone and Bob Buhl. This ball is in excellent condition, displaying only minor toning and it comes with LOAs from PSA/DNA (AB14489), who have encased this ball and graded the signatures a NM-MT 8 and an overall grade of NM-MT 7.5, plus a LOA from JSA (X13934).
