Offered is a lot of three Hillerich & Bradsby commemorative bats. First, a New York Yankees American League Champions 1955 bat with an engraved gold facsimile, signatures, and names of each member of the pennant winning club.
Second and third, two limited edition Hall of Fame fifty Home Run Seasons bats, listing all of the players inducted into Cooperstown who have hit fifty round trippers in a single season. Engraved into the bat are gold facsimile signatures of Mickey Mantle, George “Babe” Ruth, Jimmie Foxx, Hank Greenberg, Johnny Mize, Ralph Kiner, Willie Mays, and Lewis (Hack) Wilson, along with the year(s) and HR total(s) achieved. The Cooperstown Hall of Fame crest is also engraved into the bat in gold, and the barrel of the bat reads “50 Home Run Seasons” in green, above the limited edition of each bat (493 of 1000 / 748 of 1000), also in green. As it currently stands, only Ken Griffey, Jr. has joined this exclusive club since the manufacture of this particular bat.
All three bats exhibit nicely, although the 1955 Yankees bat does display some mild wear. The two fifty Home Run bats display beautifully, with the gold and green lettering standing out against the black bat surface.
