Dem Bums finally did it! The Dodgers and their fans in Brooklyn overcame years of frustration and finally defeated their crosstown rival Yankees 4-3 to win their first and only World Series in Brooklyn. The 1955 Dodger team baseball is considered the most desirable of all post WWII baseballs, and unlike most, this gem contains ZERO clubhouse signatures. This Official N.L. ball (Giles) is signed by 20 members of that historic team including Hall of Famers Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Sandy Koufax, Walt Alston, Pee Wee Reese. Also included are Frank Kellert (who played for the Dodgers only in 1955, securing its vintage to that magical year) Gil Hodges, Dixie Howell, Rube Walker, Don Bessent, Clem Labine, Carl Erskine, Ed Roebuck,Don Hoak, Sandy Amoros, Johnny Podres, Roger Craig, Karl Spooner, Carl Furillo and Don Newcombe. Signatures average 7.5/10 on this off white official N.L. ball. Comes with full LOA from PSA/DNA. Multiple images and scan of LOA available at goldinauctions.com.
