Issued by Topps in 1956, these attractive remembrances from the days of the coonskin cap and backyard "Alamo" reenactments come to us in the form of two complete sets. Each card captures a freeze frame from the early TV show that starred Fess Parker as Davy Crockett. Includes: 1956 Topps "Davy Crockett - Orange" (80) - Complete set of 80 cards. Highlights include: #'s 1 King of the Wild Frontier (PR) and 80 Bowie's Last Stand (VG). Grades 85% EX to NM (aggregate EX/MT), 15% VG to VG/EX (including a few lesser); 1956 Topps "Davy Crockett - Green" (80) - Complete set of 80 cards. Highlights include: #'s 1 Buckskin Buddy (PR) and 80 Texas Triumph (GD/VG). Grades VG to VG/EX (few slightly nicer and a handful lesser).
