Graded NM-MT 8 by BVG. Hall of Famer. Among nearly 1,000 copies recorded in BVG’s census reporting, only three examples have been placed at a higher tier. This attractive card possesses, in fine measure, all of the technical requirements demanded by its grade. In addition, it is visually satisfying. All four of the card's corners are well-shaped (with close inspection revealing only the faintest nuances of handling), and there is virtually no surface "snow." The item's colors are rich and well-focused, and the likeness of Mantle is beautifully resolved. Here is a highly creditable '57 Mantle, in clean Near Mint to Mint condition.
