After winning the 1957 World Series and the National League MVP trophy, Hank Aaron re-signed with the Milwaukee Braves for his fifth season with the Senior Circuit ballclub. Aaron continued to excel and build his Hall of Fame resume in 1958, crushing 30 longballs with 95 RBI and a .326 batting average. The 24-year old superstar made his fourth All-Star team and won his first career Gold Glove award in 1958 as the Braves claimed a second straight National League flag. This time around, the Yankees were too much for the Braves despite Aaron’s .333 batting average in the Fall Classic.

Offered here is Hank Aaron’s 1958 Uniform Player’s Contract with the Milwaukee Braves. The contract is for the value of $35,000 for the season. Aaron has signed this contract in blue pen as “Henry L Aaron”, and he has inscribed his address of “4025 N 14th Street, Milwaukee” below his signature. The contract has also been signed by John Quinn, who inscribed “Gen Mgr.” below his John Hancock. This contract comes with a LOA from JSA (Z67468).
