In 1958 the New York Yankees won yet another World Series championship, defeating the Milwaukee Braves in a seven game series. Although the Yankees hit .210 as a team, they blasted 10 home runs and rode World Series MVP Bob Turley to victory in an exciting series. Hank Bauer hit four home runs by himself, and the Yankee pitchers locked down Hank Aaron and Ed Mathews to deliver the World Series title back to the Bronx.

     This Interscholastic League baseball has been signed by 22 members of the ’58 Yankees. Hall of Famers Mickey Mantle, Whitey Ford, Casey Stengel, Yogi Berra, and Enos Slaughter have signed this baseball, with Mantle placing his signature on the sweet spot. Other signatures include Tom Sturdivant, Bill Skowron, Art Ditmar, Bobby Richardson, Hank Bauer, Bob Turley, Johnny Kucks, Don Larsen, Gil McDougald, Bobby Shantz, Norm Siebern, Tony Kubek, and several more. These signatures have been written in black and green marker. This baseball comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A81862).
