All 12 players pictured in this formal team photo have signed their names on their respective images, including coach and Hall of Famer Red Auerbach. All of the signatures have been penned in blue ink and include (bottom row left to right) Frank Ramsey, Hall of Famer Bob Cousy, Auerbach, K.C. Jones, Hall of Famer Bill Sharman, (top row left to right) Gene Guarilia, Tom Heinsohn, John Richter, Hall of Famer Bill Russell, Gene Conley, Jim Loscutoff, Sam Jones and “Buddy” LeRoux. Below the team photo is handwritten in black marker “BOSTON CELTICS “59-60” and below “60-61” in blue marker. “Worlds Champions” is handwritten in red and written over in blue marker on the bottom right corner. The photo displays some wear with remnants of adhesive running across mostly the top row of players, affecting some of the signatures.
