In 1959, the Washington Senators finished dead last in the American League. One bright spot, however, was the breakout season that future Hall of Famer Harmon Killebrew enjoyed. Limited to prior part-time duty, he belted a league leading 42 home runs and knocked in 105 RBI's that year. Here is the actual Official American William Harridge baseball that Harmon Killebrew blasted into the left field stands at Griffith Stadium in the second game of a doubleheader for his 43rd career home run; his 32nd of the 1959 season. Killebrew has penned his signature on the coveted sweet spot in green marker. The inscriptions "7/19/1959 / No. 32" below - and an additional "No. 32" found on a side panel - have been etched in an unknown hand. This relic provides an ample amount of game use. This comes with a LOA from MEARS (314902) for the game use and attributing this ball to Killebrew’s 43rd career home run, plus LOAs from JSA (Y91483) and PSA/DNA (AC00039) for the signature and inscriptions.
