Harry Walker was known as “Harry the Hat” due to his constant adjustment of his cap in the batter’s box. The two-time All-Star won a batting crown in 1947 and helped the Cardinals win two World Championships in 1942 and 1946. After his playing days, Walker became a coach and manager in both the minor leagues and majors. This offered bat dates to 1959 when Walker was a coach with the Cardinals. The Hillerich & Bradsby P53 model bat shows heavy use with a handle crack that has been repaired, and Walker has signed the barrel in black marker. The bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B12650) for the game use and a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication for the signature.
