Graded MINT 9 by PSA. Hall of Famer. This is one of nine examples at its tier (with none graded higher) among a total of forty-seven copies recorded in PSA's census reporting. Published quarterly in the interest of the state's inhabitants, the Oklahoma Today magazine detailed historically significant figures and events with local ties. The Summer, 1959 issue featured baseball content as well as a collection of stamp-style player images on the back cover. Offered here is the key figure among that seldom-encountered group of Oklahoma native sons: Mickey Mantle. This is a meticulously cut, carefully preserved specimen of a regionally issued treasure, in Mint condition.
