In 1959, the Los Angeles Dodgers won their first World Series title on the west coast, defeating the Chicago White Sox in a six game Fall Classic. Larry Sherry earned the World Series MVP award after appearing in four games, winning two and saving two, and finishing with a sparkling 0.71 ERA. This bat has been signed by 38 members of the White Sox and Dodgers, including the Hall of Famers Duke Snider, Larry Doby, Luis Aparicio, and Al Lopez. Other signatures include Maury Wills, Johnny Podres, Bob Shaw, Joe Pignatano, Johnny Klippstein, Roger Craig, Jim Landis, Carl Erskine, Wally Moon, Ron Jackson, Gerry Staley, Clem Labine, Fred Kipp, Earl Battey, Turk Lown, Norm Larker, Jim McAnany, and several more. The signatures have been written in blue marker. This item comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A87200).
