Presented is a lot of 11 World Series ticket stubs and passes dating from the period 1960 to 1967. The first ticket stub in this lot is from Game 1 of the 1960 World Series, with the Pittsburgh Pirates wining 6-4 over the New York Yankees at Forbes Field in Pittsburgh, October 5, 1960.  That game featured home runs by Bill Mazeroski for the Pirates, Roger Maris and Elston Howard for the Yankees.  The Pirates won the 1960 World Series with the Game 7, ninth-inning home run hit by Mazeroski, the only time a winner-take-all World Series game has ended with a walk-off home run. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (23421894). The second ticket stub in this lot is from Game 3 of the 1961 World Series, Oct. 7, 1961 at Crosley Field in Cincinnati. The New York Yankees beat the Reds, 3-2 thanks to a ninth inning home run by Roger Maris that went into the right field bleachers for the go-ahead run.  This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (23421976).  The third ticket stub in this lot is from Game 5 of the 1961 World Series, October 9, 1960 at Crosley Field, in which the New York Yankees clinched their 19th World Series title with a 13-5 win over the Cincinnati Reds.  This was the final World Series game ever played at Crosley Field, and the last postseason game in Cincinnati until the team moved to Riverfront Stadium in 1970.  This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21181606).

The fourth ticket stub in this lot is from the 1962 World Series Game 7 at Candlestick Park in San Francisco, as the Yankees clinched their 20th World Series crown with a 1-0 victory over the San Francisco Giants on Oct. 16, 1962.  This game is best remembered for its dramatic conclusion.  With runners on second and third and two out in the bottom of the ninth inning, Hall-of-Famer Willie McCovey hit an exceptionally hard line drive that was caught by second baseman Bobby Richardson to preserve a one-run victory for the Yankees. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (20876972). The fifth ticket stub in this lot is Game 4 of the 1963 World Series, played October 6, 1963 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. The Dodgers swept the Yankees with their 2-1 win.   Legendary left hander Sandy Koufax held the Yankees to six hits en route to the win, and the Dodgers' third world championship.  Koufax was the World Series MVP thanks his starting two of the four games, and his two complete game victories. To date, Game 4 is the only time the Dodgers have won the deciding game of a World Series at home. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (19677667).   The sixth item in this lot is from Game 5 of the 1964 World Series, a Yankee Stadium Club pass. The St. Louis Cardinals beat the New York Yankees, 5-2 in 10 innings on October 12, 1964.  This was the last postseason game at Yankee Stadium before its renovation following the 1973 season. The Cards won the 1960 World Series, 4-3. This pass has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (22622648.

The seventh ticket stub in this lot is from Game 2 of the 1965 World Series, played October 7 at Metropolitan Stadium in Minneapolis. The Twins beat the Dodgers, 5-1 as Jim Kaat outpitched Sandy Koufax and put the Twins up 2-0 in the series. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21147324). The eighth ticket stub in this lot is from Game 5 of the 1965 World Series, played October 11 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. This time Koufax got the better of Kaat, with the Dodgers winning 7-0 to go up 3-2 in the series. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (20777456). The ninth ticket stub in this lot is from Game 7 of the 1965 World Series, in which the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched their third title since moving West with a 2-0 win over the Minnesota Twins on October 14th at Metropolitan Stadium in Minneapolis. It was Koufax vs. Kaat for the third time in the series, and Koufax captured his second win. Koufax was named the series MVP. He did not pitch in Game 1, as it fell on the Jewish holy day of Yom Kippur, but pitched in Game 2 and then tossed shutouts in Games 5 and 7 (with only two days of rest in between) to win the championship. No relief pitchers were used by the winning team in any game of this series; the winning starting pitcher went the distance in all seven games. This had not happened since 1940 and has never been repeated since. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21181603).

The 10th ticket stub in this lot is from Game 4 of the 1966 World Series, played October 9, 1966 at Memorial Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland. The Orioles clinched their first World Series championship as they beat the Dodgers, 1-0. Frank Robinson, who scored the O’s only run with his second home run of the series, became the first non-pitcher from a winning World Series team to win the World Series MVP trophy, and the Orioles became the second team in World Series history (the 1937 New York Yankees were the first), not to commit an error in a series of any length, handling 141 total chances (108 putouts, 33 assists) flawlessly. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21147311). The 11th ticket stub in this lot is from October 9, 1967, the fifth game of the 1967 World Series, played at Busch Memorial Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri.  The Boston Red Sox beat the St. Louis Cardinals, 3-1 in this contest, as Boston’s Jim Lonborg picked up his second win of the series.  The Cardinals won the World Series in seven games for their second championship in four years and their eighth overall. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21355516).
