Graded NM 7 by PSA. Hall of Famer. Rookie Card. This incredible 1960 Hemmets Journal hand-cut collectible is a splendid representation of Cassius Clay dating to the year of his Olympic gold medal triumph in Rome. The inimitable heavyweight champion, who compiled a spectacular 56-5 record during his professional career, is history’s definitive pugilist, an American hero who redefined what it meant to be an athlete. This card, originally part of a four-panel page alongside Wilma Rudolph, John Ljunggren, and Harald Nielsen, features text in Swedish on the card’s back. The sublime white-bordered collectible shows a clean image of the future Muhammad Ali in a white tank-top against a green background. Near Mint condition.
