Another hoops legend, John Havlicek, averaged 12.2 points and 7.3 rebounds. Ohio State finished the season with an overall record of 25-3, including a 75-55 victory over the University of California in the National Final.

Presented here is a 10K gold 1960 Ohio State Buckeyes NCAA basketball national championship ring, manufactured by Josten. A large red stone highlights the ring, with “THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY 1960” appearing in relief work around the bezel setting. Both sides of the ring show “NCAA” above its logo, with one side also declaring “BASKETBALL CHAMPIONS”. The bottom of each of the sides show words including “DILIGENCE” and “DISCIPLINE”, although noticeable wear also appears. “JOSTEN 10K” along with the initials “J.T.L.” (J.T. Landes) are marked inside the band of this approximate size 9 ring. This item weighs approximately 20.0 grams.
