The Green Bay Packers were an absolute dynasty in the National Football League during the decade of the 1960’s. Under legendary head coach Vince Lombardi – and powered by the likes of Bart Starr, Jim Taylor and Paul Hornung – the Packers won league titles in five different seasons. Green Bay won the NFL championship in 1961, 1962 and 1965, and then won the first two Super Bowls in 1966 and 1967. Offered here is a lot of 1960’s Green Bay Packers team-issued jewelry and accessories. Included among the group is a tie clip that features a Packers helmet and reads “WORLD CHAMPIONS 1965”, and another in blue and white that reads “NAT. FOOTBALL LEAGUE 1962 CHAMPIONSHIP N.Y. GIANTS VS GREEN BAY PACKERS”. Included are: (4) cuff links, key chain, (3) tie clasps, key chain, (2) tie bars, (4) tie pins, (2) Packers pins (one has the back missing and one is shaved down) and a 1962 press pin tie clasp. Also included with the items is an original green felt case featuring a colorful Packers helmet on the outside cover. This collection comes with a COA from Gregg Gentile, the son of former Packers trainer Domenic Gentile.
