Boca Juniors star striker Angel Clemente Rojas wore this blue and yellow Boca shirt during the 1960’s. “Rojitas” played the majority of his career for Boca Juniors, scoring 78 goals in his eight seasons with the Buenos Aires club. Rojas, capped twice by Argentina, led Boca to four Primera Division titles and the 1969 Copa Argentina title before transferring to Peru’s Deportivo Municipal in 1972. This offered Boca Juniors jersey is blue, with a yellow stripe running horizontally across the chest and back. Rojas’ number “8” is sewn on the back of the jersey in white tackle twill. This shirt has some specifications for a 60’s style shirt of the era. There is a player identifier “8” on the shirt. Wear is exhibited throughout. The jersey comes with a letter of provenance from the original owner who is a soccer historian from Uruguay. This historic jersey is a fantastic artifact from Argentina’s most popular club team! This jersey comes with a letter of provenance from Marcel Alejandro Pesce Arremon, who states in his letter that this jersey "was received by me from a relative of the player José (Pepe) Sacia, this shirt was a gift that Angel Clemente Rojas made as a reason for their friendship."
