The 1961 New York Yankees were arguably one of the more memorable teams in the franchise’s storied history. From a team standpoint, the won the American League by eight games and posted a 109-53 record. From an individual standpoint, Roger Maris broke the single-season home run record by belting 61 home runs.

22 members of that historic team have signed their respective names in light blue pen on this Babe Ruth League baseball. This Wilson baseball shows toning and the red stitching is still intact and faded, with the black stampings still clear. Hall of Famers Mickey Mantle and Yogi Berra signed their name on the sweet spot with Roger Maris’ signature on the bottom of the north panel. The other signatures on the north panel include Johnny Blanchard, Jack Reed, Bob Turley, Bobby Richardson, Bill Skowron and Wally Moses. The south panel has the signatures of Luis Arroyo, Bill Gardner, Tex Clevenger, Hal Reniff and Bob Hale. The east panel has the signatures has Hector Lopez, Bill Stafford, Rollie Sheldon and Ralph Terry and the west panel has the signatures of Spud Murray, Elston Howard, Jim Hegan and Tom Tresh. The signatures are light but still present nicely and this multi-signed baseball comes with a full LOA from JSA (X57041).
