This official American League Joseph E. Cronin baseball has been signed by 21 members of the back-to-back champion Yankees. 1962 marked the end of the Mantle era dynasty for the Yankees, as they would not win another World Series until 1977. Mantle won his third and final Most Valuable Player award in 1962, and has signed the sweet spot along with fellow hall of famer Yogi Berra. Roger Maris signed his name on the east panel, along with the signatures of Bob Turley, Tex Clevenger and Hector Lopez. The west panel with the “REACH” stamp has the signatures of Spud Murray, Jim Bouton, Moose Skowron (signed Bill Skowron), Luis Arroyo, Ralph Terry and Jack Reed.

The north panel has the signatures of Tom Tresh, Bobby Richardson, Marshall Bridges, Johnny Blanchard and Phil Linz. The south panel has the signatures of Tony Kubek, Roland Sheldon, Hall of Famer White Ford and Bud Daley. The ball has some toning and some signatures are light but all the keys are clearly legible and Maris is the boldest signature on the ball. This multi-signed baseball comes with full LOA from PSA/DNA (Q09296).
