Offered in this lot is a vintage Willie Mays bobblehead made in 1962. Mays made both All-Star Games in 1962 and finished second in the National League MVP race. He led the NL in homers, with 49, while plating a career-high 141 runs and hitting .304. This bobblehead shows Mays in his Giants home whites, with his facsimile signature printed on the base of the bobblehead. The bobblehead measures approximately 7 inches tall. Please note that the head is not attached to the spring on the neck. A small paint chip is missing from Mays’ right shoulder.
