Bert Rechichar is a throwback to an older NFL, a safety, kicker, kick returner, punter and more who was drafted by the Cleveland Browns with tenth overall pick of the 1952 NFL Draft. Rechichar played for the Browns in 1952, but enjoyed his greatest success with the Baltimore Colts from 1953 through 1959. Rechichar made three straight Pro Bowls in 1955, 1956, and 1957, and at one point held the record for longest field goal in NFL history at 56 yards. Rechichar was a member of the 1958 Baltimore Colts NFL champions team, and he retired after spending the 1961 season with the New York Titans.

Offered here are two highlight films of the Baltimore Colts, dating to the 1963-64 period. Both highlight films were sent to Rechichar in 13.5 x 13.5 inch cases bearing Baltimore Colts official shipping labels, as well as a “National Beer Sports Film” sticker. Please note that due to technical limitations, Goldin Auctions is unable to state if these films are still playable. These films come with a LOA from the Rechichar family.
