Dave Bing was presented this trophy for helping the Syracuse Orangemen to a surprise victory in the 1963 Hurricane Classic by defeated favorites Princeton, led by Bill Bradley and the host Miami Hurricanes and their All-American Rick Barry. This 12-inch tall trophy has a gold basketball player with both hands on the ball and is mounted on a white marble base, which is attached to a wood base. At the base is a silver plate that reads “HURRICANE BASKETBALL CLASSIC 1963”. This item comes with a full LOA from Dave Bing.
