Featured is a 1963 silver sterno set given to Wes Westrum. A Catcher for the New York Giants, Westrum achieved a fielding percentage of .999 in 1950 which stood as a NL record for catchers, as well as playing more games as a catcher (902) than any other player in Giants history. He would become a two-time All-Star as well as a World Series champion in 1954. Westrum would then serve as coach/manager for the Giants and Mets respectively. This featured sterno set was given to Westrum in the 1963. The set is silver and features three removable lids, with two trays (one is missing). The bottom features all three removable lighters. The sterno shows signs of aging such as stains on the lids, as well as the lighters. Considering its age however, the sterno has no dents, or breaks and is in overall good condition.
