Although known worldwide as a heavyweight boxer, Muhammad Ali also enjoyed a second career as a spoken word poet and singer. Offered here is a copy of his album “I’m The Greatest!”, signed by the Louisville Lip himself. The front cover of this album features a close-up of Ali, drenched in sweat, staring at the camera. He signed his name in silver Sharpie. This record was pressed and distributed from Crimson Dynasty Record corp. and features songs such as “High Hopes”, “Don’t Mess With Ali” and “One Fist of Iron the Other of Steel”. Ali is widely regard as a hip-hop pioneer due to his poetic trash talk and Afrocentric ideals, with rappers such as LL Cool J and Jay Z listing him as one of their chief influences.
