This silver bowl recognizes Yogi Berra’s last World Series as a player. Since 1947, Berra had called the shots for an even 10 World Championships with the Yankees. In recognition for his leadership shown behind the plate, just after the 1963 Series ended, Berra was named the Yankees manager for the upcoming 1964 season. The silver plated bowl measures 6 inches in diameter and is 3 ½ inches tall. “1963 World Series New York Yankees A.L. Los Angeles Dodgers N.L. Chrysler Corporation” is engraved on the front of the piece. The interior of the bowl has been tinted a brilliant bright blue. The bowl shows very light wear with minimal scuffing and remains in very good display condition. The bowl comes with a full LOA from Steiner for its Yogi Berra Estate provenance.
