During his final season playing for the Yankees in 1963, at the age of 38, Yogi Berra still hit .293. It was during this final season in pinstripes Berra wore these flannel pants. Within the waistband is a white strip tag with “Berra 8 38 63” chain-stitched in black thread. Along the side is the “Spalding” manufacturer’s tag with attached wash tag. On the front of the inner waistband, are the same markings “63-8-38” written in black marker. One back pocket button is missing, and it appears a button on the fly was replaced during the time it was worn, but the overall appearance is still very strong. Nice overall game use with light staining, commensurate with Berra’s part time play. Full LOA from MEARS.
