This award was presented to Yogi Berra in 1964 just after he retired as a player and was about to go to his first spring training as Yankees manager. The silver plated award measures 11 ¾ inches in diameter and ¾ inch in depth and reads “Sports Lodge B’nai B’rith 13th Annual Dinner January 25, 1964 to Yogi Berra for High Principle and Achievement in Sports”. The plate shows good wear from age and use with scuffing on the surface, but this does not affect the legibility of the inscription. The plate comes with a full LOA from Steiner for its Yogi Berra Estate provenance.
