Presented here is a contract from 1964 between the Three Stooges and William Morris Agency, one of the first and most famous talent agencies in the United States. At this point, the Stooges comprised of original members Moe Howard and Larry Fine, as well Joe DeRita, who portrayed the new Curly, named “Curly Joe”. Although the trio’s production was slowing down as the 1960s crept on, they starred in a television show called The New Three Stooges in 1965, and several feature-length films. Howard, Fine, and DeRita have all signed the final page of this contract, which is dated to February 21st, 1964. Howard and Fine signed in blue pen, while DeRita signed in black. This item comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A86023).
