The mid-1960’s were Brooks Robinson’s finest. In 1964, the Orioles third baseman was voted the AL’s MVP, and then just missed a second award when he was edged out by teammate Frank Robinson in 1966. That year Brooks helped lead the Orioles to the World Series where his glove made the difference in the Orioles upset of the Los Angeles Dodgers. This mid-1960’s Hillerich & Bradsby MC46 model bat shows good use with a crack on the handle. There are several prominent ball marks visible on the barrel. The remains of a light coat of pine tar is on the handle. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B13704) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9.
